Poli Olavarria

Poli (she/her) came to New York in 2021 to study at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, having acted and directed in her home country, Santiago de Chile, since the age of ten. Her acting credits include Ivy in August: Osage County, Boochie in Den of Thieves, Frankie in Frankie & Johnny in the Claire de Lune, and Nina in DANSE MACABRE or The Danse of Two Lovers About to Die, a play which she wrote and produced as part of the New York Theater Festival’s Fall/Winter 2023 season. Her most recent project is Someone ExtraordinariX! at the Producer’s Club, another production where she serves as writer, co-producer, and lead actress (Mona). She dedicates her work to her cat Mila.
